Summer fun in the neighborhood!

Dear Northland Swim Club Member,
It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome you to Northland Swim Club’s 2011 season! Due to the generosity of our members and long-time supporters we reached our $10,000 goal and will be opening for the 2011 season. This summer is a crucial year for the pool. And our continued success relies on your support. We are asking you to renew your membership today so you can be part of the fun in the sun this summer!
A membership is like a vacation that lasts all summer long! And it costs less than $2 per person per day!!
Melt away the stress of life by escaping to your own oasis in the middle of the neighborhood. Think of the wide open green spaces that are calling your name to come relax. Whether it’s basking in the warm sunshine while you lounge by the pool, or reading a good book in the cool shade of the oak tree, we have a spot for you. Swim for fitness, play with the kids, float in the sun on a raft, or go for that big cannonball off the high dive.
Don’t delay, mail in your membership application today! Our rates for the 2011 season will remain the same, which is a bargain at the cost of less than $2 per person per day for a summer of fun in the sun.
In addition, if you renew your membership and pay in full by opening day, May 28, 2011, you will receive one free guest pass for each family member on your membership. A real value for you and your family!
Summer Happenings at NSC
We’ll have all the summer activities that you always enjoy, beginning with a Memorial Day Celebration. Guests will be invited to enter for $3 and we’ll have hotdogs fresh off the grill to kick-off opening weekend.
And don’t forget the pool is also a great place for friends and family to gather for all sorts of occasions, whether it is to celebrate a birthday, host a graduation party, gather for a family reunion, or just enjoy a picnic or cookout. Talk to our staff in the pool office to reserve the shelter and grills for your upcoming family event.
Spring Clean Up
Calling all volunteers – spring clean-up will begin on Saturday, April 16th and continue every weekend until opening day on May 28, 2011. There are so many ways to volunteer. You can rake leaves, help patch concrete, clean the picnic tables, or bring your own expertise. To volunteer please contact Missi Conley at 614.306.8997.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors has joined together and refocused their efforts on the continued survival of Northland Swim Club. Our pool is a neighborhood jewel and a vital community asset. The Board is working to ensure that the pool will be here for years to come. and have done so for 45 years. She's getting old-er, but with your continued
support, the Boards volunteerism, and the dedication of her staff we want to set
this "ship" on a brighter course, eventually reducing rates, making capital
improvements, etc.

Welcome to Northland Swim Club!
Wide open green spaces and the sparkling cool waters are calling you to come
spread out and relax. Bask in the warm sunshine while you lounge by the pool,
or read a good book in the shade of the oak tree. We have a perfect spot for
you. Come melt away the stresses of life. Swim for fitness, frolic with the
kids, float in the sun, or go for that big cannonball off the high dive.
Our Goal
Northland Swim Club is a not-for-profit community owned swim club. We were
built by neighbors in Northland for the families and friends of Northland's
neighborhoods.
We are a unique community owned pool and and a great safe place for kids,
adults, adult-kids and families to stay close to home and cool off during the
summer.
